Feeling a sense of anxiety or overwhelm?

Often times when we are dealing with anxiety and overwhelm it is an indication that we need to work on our relationship with ourselves. In this post, I will focus on how you can shift out of anxiety when the triggers are around a need to communicate and to be more assertive. Here, we often see chronic symptoms emerge: lack of sleep or TMJ, for example. So if you are dealing with a chronic symptom and it’s your communication with yourself and how you don’t want to deal with conflict and you want to step back in a sense and not manage your emotions or, talk about your emotions in a calm assertive way, well, we need to help you to do that so that you don’t feel stuck anymore. Stuck in repressed emotions that are overwhelming you and causing you to feel like you are walking around with all this pressure inside. For some of us, It’s like a big balloon that is full and with hypnosis, we can just start to bring it down.

With a subconscious therapy such as hypnosis: You can begin to release repressed emotions in a safe and manageable way, this is what many people need to hear and accept. We can work to get you to sleep more effectively because sleep is vital to expressing & releasing the pressures we hold inside. We can teach you better coping skills. And along the way, we see this is an indication, a symptom of something deeper, which is- how do you deal with some of these issues or conflicts: how you communicate, how you feel about yourself, and where you recognize where you can set boundaries and you can communicate them in a positive manner. We start by releasing some of the stress with better coping skills and through hypnosis because it is a venting state. And, getting you more comfortable with being present with what you are feeling and then we can step you into more empowerment. So we walk you towards resolution, so you don’t walk around repressed and you ultimately figure out that it is better to be present and, you are more comfortable expressing in a calm way.

As many of my clients know, using their tools in between their sessions with me is essential to creating the lasting behavioral changes they seek. Healing happens over time and one hour a week of hypnosis is not enough. This is deep body-based healing with people and, neuro-synaptically we wire in a new way of thinking a new way of feeling a new way of breathing a new way of moving, a new way of emoting a new way of interacting with your husband or your friend, etc.
